Radio Hall

Also known as the “Mihail Jora” Concert Studio, the Radio Hall was built in 1959 and inaugurated in 1961, being the largest symphonic and choral concert hall in Romania. In the summer of 2009, the Radio Hall - considered acoustically the best symphonic concert hall in Bucharest - went through an extensive renovation and refurbishment process.
The Radio Hall hosts a wide variety of events. It has a capacity of 941 seats, it is the largest symphonic and choral concert hall in the country and the only concert hall in Romania that offers the possibility of making live recordings in digital quality. With its special acoustics for symphonic concerts, the Radio Hall is a landmark in the cultural life of a European capital.
