SoNoRo Mansion,
XII Edition, 2024

This year, through the XII Edition of the SoNoRo Mansion Tour, we are adding ten architectural symbols from Romania to the map started 11 years ago. The Tour will comprise three parts and will take place in March, May and June.

The XII Edition begins and, as always, with renewed enthusiasm, we are excited about the extraordinary places we will reach, the spaces we will reflect on with music and the contexts in which we will write a new chapter of the SoNoRo Mansion Tour.

This year, we invite you on a journey called “L’heure Bleue” – a title inspired by that time when the end of day is preparing to give way to dusk, then night. The “Blue Hour “will be – from SoNoRo’s perspective – a space for dreaming and a time in which music materialises, goes beyond its outlines and comes to life, in all its fullness, in some of the most beautiful buildings in our country.

I am also pleased with the concert line-up of the first part of the Tour – the exceptional violinist Nicolas Dautricourt, much loved by the Romanian public, the remarkable pianist Shani Diluka and the pianists Cristiana Mihart and Ioan-Dragoș Dimitriu, former fellows of the SoNoRo Interferences programme, currently musicians enjoying a solid career.

Director of SoNoRo Mansion Tour

The XII Edition of the BRD journey alongside SoNoRo Mansion into the world of music and heritage buildings in Romania is a good opportunity to gladly invite you to join us. Why? Because these journeys can be a good opportunity to help us get to where it is really important and good for each of us. BRD supports investing in truth, in curiosity and experiences, in art and experiments, in simple things that help us (re)find ourselves.

We have supported this extraordinary Tour since its inception, and today we are deeply grateful for every building restored, every note that rang out, and every smile brought to the faces of those around us.

Our culture, heritage and local communities are the fundamental pillars of our Romanian identity and we are determined to continue our commitment to promote, preserve and strengthen them.

Flavia Popa,
Secretary General – BRD Groupe Société Générale
